I grew up on Donnattburg road from age 8-18. Memories flooded me when I saw your pic of the bridge. It used to be functional when I lived on the road there.. in fact that whole road was a dirt road for years.. then they paved it to the bridge. When I went to college in 83..they closed the bridge and the pass to Austin Road... eliminated a great short cut!

I used to sit on that bridge and read and throw rocks into the river.

Thanks for the link, "Greg". This is pretty much what I come up with when I'm searching for info on whether the new iPhone has WAAS - nothing about it but lots about it's positioning ability in general.

Maybe it doesn't need WAAS in addition to the three methods it uses, but it sure helps and WAAS has been around for quite awhile now. I usually get five- to ten-foot accuracy with my WAAS-enabled GPS receiver.

It's best to use free clipart and free photos from various sites. I have a list of more of them also.

It's certainly always a temptation to grab graphics off Google Image search, but many of those are copyrighted off people's site.

Great post. I really enjoyed reading about the transformation of your house. I have always loved that house and glad you have made it your home and done what you needed to for it to work for you.
Thanks for sharing the site with the clip art...I am always looking for some for my blog and have gotten lazy and been doing using google images.
Kitty's are so beautiful. I miss my Bradley so much. I am having a dog park mural painted in the nursery. Included are select dogs from mine and Jon's life-the main characters being Fozzie and SOphie. Do you remember Brownie? She is included. And, of course Bradley is over the closet doors batting at a bird. I will send pictures when it's done. It's very watercolorish and with open strokes. Our little boy will be an animal lover like GRandpa (your Dad) taught us.

Yea, I had a radio along with chairs, a seat from an old Jeep, a shortwave radio, water, and electricity out there. It was a great playhouse/fort sort of thing when we were kids. I hadn't really thought of that in years, good times.

wow! What a moving post. I am sorry to hear about your friend Ernie. Sounds like one amazing person. I am sure he felt the same about you. Funny that you should associate the Prince song When Doves Cry with him. Whenever I hear the Prince song Little Red Corvette it reminds me of you. We used to play it in the other barn? The one with the stalls? hard for me to remember it all but I remember us playing in there and you had a radio set up etc. Music can be a powerful way to remember.

A number of people have tried to compete online with the Newzjunky guy, and none have been able to pull it off. The guy's dedicated and hard-working.

On the Google Analytics try out the scheduled e-mails for your stats. I use that all the time. Google Analytics is nice, though I normally use Statcounter.com or a javascript applet installed on the website's server. Both statcounter and Google analytics (as well as others) all have their pluses and minuses.

For my blog I'm Statcounter with the e-mail reports as well as the online analysis.

You can contact Blogger's tech people for help with their account. I had a problem integrating my Blog accoutns together and they quickly and efficiently helped me work everything out.
